Counselling & Consultations

Our therapeutic relationship is key in developing a supportive space for you during our time together. Therefore, I believe that informing you of my fees, policies, and options are important to discuss prior to investing your time. I have provided some of the information below. This information will also be discussed in our initial appointment, along with my consent to service and confidentiality forms.

Services Available:

At this time, I am not taking on new clients as I am currently on maternity leave until Fall 2021.

Upon my return, I will be offering counselling to individuals. I also offer coaching support to other counselling professionals looking to develop their skills in  grief and loss, caregiver burnout/support and death/dying.

Individual appointments may be conducted through eTherapy [tele-health (over the phone or video)] during the pandemic. Please contact me for further information regarding eTherapy.

Office hours:

At this time, appointments are currently available for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5pm-8pm.

Limitations to Telephone and eTherapy Services:

Due to the limitations in telephone and cyber counselling, not all clients will be appropriate for telephone and cyber counselling. Due to the safety and benefit of each client, individuals who are actively suicidal or experiencing entrenched trauma are not appropriate for these services, and should they be unable to attend to the office, they will be referred to another counselling service.

Fees & Rates:

I currently offer counselling and consultation services at  individuals in the office or through eTherapy.

50 minutes: $120.00

80 minutes: $180.00

Fees are due at the beginning of each session. I currently accept cash, email money transfers, and credit card payment* only.

Please note, additional fees may be added for credit card use.

Cancellation Policy:

24 hours notice is required for all cancellations. In the event that you are unable to keep an appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. If cancelling with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee for the session will be due.

Extended Benefits:

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Please check with your Extended Health Benefits provider to ensure you are covered for sessions prior to attending counselling with me, if you are looking to have your benefits cover your session fees. Payment is due by the coompletion of the session and you will be issued a receipt to submit to your Extended Health Benefits provider.
