Counselling & Consultations

Our therapeutic relationship is key in developing a supportive space for you during our time together. Therefore, I believe that informing you of my fees, policies, and options are important to discuss prior to investing your time. I have provided some of the information below. This information will also be discussed in our initial appointment, along with my consent to service and confidentiality forms.

Services Available:

Currently I am offering counselling to individuals, groups, and consultation services to couples and families. I also offer coaching support to other counselling professionals looking to develop their skills in  grief and loss, caregiver burnout/support and death/dying.

Individual appointments may be conducted in the office or through eTherapy [tele-health (over the phone) or cyber-health (via video-chat and instant messaging)]. Please contact me for further information regarding eTherapy.

Couples appointments may be conducted in the office or through eTherapy.

Family appointments are available for in the office only.

Small group counselling is conducted through face-to-face counselling only. This option is offered in the office or in the community to schools, businesses, and community groups who may have suffered a loss or who are hoping to support someone who has suffered a loss. Please contact me for further details and to make arrangements.

I am a mental health provider for the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). I am able to provide Short-Term Crisis Intervention Mental Health Counselling, as well as the Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program. Please feel free to contact me to confirm and apply for your funded counselling options.

Office hours:

At this time, appointments are currently available for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5pm-8pm.

Limitations to Telephone and eTherapy Services:

Due to the limitations in telephone and cyber counselling, not all clients will be appropriate for telephone and cyber counselling. Due to the safety and benefit of each client, individuals who are actively suicidal or experiencing entrenched trauma are not appropriate for these services, and will be referred to a local counselling or public program for the client to receive appropriate services.

Fees & Rates:

I currently offer counselling, consultation, and coaching services at  individuals in the office or through eTherapy.

50 minutes: $120.00

80 minutes: $180.00

I currently offer couples counselling and consultation through in the the office or through eTherapy.

50 minutes: $140.00

80 minutes: $210.00

Family rates are dependent on number of family members present. Fee amount will be determined prior to first appointment. Small group counselling dependent on number of attendees and length of time requested. Please contact me  to discuss this option further. Fees are due at the beginning of each session. I currently accept cash, email money transfers, and credit card payment* only.

Please note, additional fees may be added for credit card use.

Cancellation Policy:

24 hours notice is required for all cancellations. In the event that you are unable to keep an appointment, please provide 24 hours (Monday-Friday) advance notice (ex cancelling Monday would require notification mid day Friday). If cancelling with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee for the session will be due.

Extended Benefits:

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Please check with your Extended Health Benefits provider to ensure you are covered for sessions prior to attending counselling with me, if you are looking to have your benefits cover your session fees. Payment is due at the beginning of the session and you will be issued a receipt to submit to your Extended Health Benefits provider.

I currently offer In person counselling in Chilliwack, BC. The office is located above Lock’s Pharmacy at #212 – 9181 Main St, Chilliwack. eTherapy is available for individuals, couples, and families. Group counselling can be provided in the office or in a secure and private location, such as a business or school. Please contact me for further details.
